Free concreter invoice template (Australia)
A concreter's invoice has to separate the things that move independently: the concrete itself (per cubic metre from the batching plant), the pump, the steel, the formwork and prep, and your labour to place and finish. Customers and builders check each against the quote, and a single lump sum invites a phone call.

GST notes for concreters
Concreting Services: slabs, driveways and paths priced per m² or per cubic metre, with concrete supply, pump hire and steel often on-charged at cost plus.
- Concrete, mesh and pump hire you charge to the customer carry GST at the price you charge, even though the supplier already charged you GST. You claim their GST back as a credit.
- Short-load or waiting-time fees from the batching plant are your costs. If you pass them on, add them as their own line with GST.
- Driveways and slabs over $1,000 (they nearly always are) need the customer's name or ABN on the tax invoice.
Word, Excel or Google Docs
Using this concreter invoice template in other formats
Microsoft Word
Recreate the PDF’s structure with a 5-column table (description, qty, unit price, GST, amount). Keep the words “Tax Invoice” as the document title, your ABN under your business name, and add a totals block of subtotal / GST / total. Word’s tables won’t calculate GST for you, so double-check every amount: a wrong GST figure is the most common Word-template mistake we saw in real concreter invoices.
Excel / spreadsheets
Excel handles the maths: set GST per line to =ROUND(qty*unit*0.1, 2) for GST-inclusive work, and total to subtotal + GST. The trap is what Excel doesn’t do: it won’t stop you issuing two invoices with the same number, and PDFs exported from spreadsheets often crop columns, so always check the print preview before sending.
Google Docs
Same structure as Word. One advantage: a single master doc you copy per invoice keeps your numbering sequential. One warning: sharing the live doc link instead of a PDF lets the amounts change after sending, so always download as PDF before it goes to the customer.

FAQ
Should concrete be per m² or per m³ on the invoice?
Both, on different lines. Concrete supply is bought per cubic metre, so invoice it that way. Your prep, formwork and finishing are measured by area, so per m² makes sense for those.
How do I invoice pump hire?
As its own on-charge line at the price you are charging. If the pump company billed extra time because the pour ran long, either absorb it or add it as a separate line with a short explanation.
Should I take a deposit before the pour?
Many concreters invoice a deposit on booking to cover the concrete order. Issue it as its own tax invoice, then show it as received on the final invoice so the balance is clear.
